I see.  I have heard of instances where mail was rejected because, the hosting company we were hosting, had reverse DNS going to nameserver.com but when you ping it, it had a different ip address.

Will reverse DNS work if server is based on multi domain on 1 IP address?  Are you speaking of setting up a PTR record? It does not make sense that deleting and recreating the site fixes the issue, if it is a relaying error.  It also does not make sense that 34 domains work and this one does not.  I saw this in the discussion forums that someone else has similar symptoms but no domains are accepting messages.  It was a 550 also that had the issue.
