Are you speaking of setting up a PTR record?

I have a 550. I have multi domains on a single ip. I have only one reverse
record for the whole subnet (I have a single C class). That reverse lookup
is maintained by my tld registry (apnic). Mail works for all domains.
Your problem is:
dig 208.144.236.201
gives:
The host or domain "201.236.144.208.in-addr.arpa." does not exist (using DNS
Expert)
Whoever provides your address block must have an in.addr.arpa record
pointing at you.... how else can you be found?
