Substitute "afford" with "wait" and I agree. If you're not active in some
of the anti-spam specific lists and groups I suggest you lurk on a few for a
week or two, read the archives and either join others' existing efforts or
share your own ideas and spearhead something. I'm sure all of us on the
Cobalt lists receive a lot of spam and it affects us either with a real
direct or indirect cost and wastes our time, but there are several very
active anti-spam discussion groups which would be a better place for
discussing and taking action, simply because the people that chose to join
said groups are specifically interested in the topic and have the energy and
willingess to do something about it. See spamcop, spam-l and suespammers
for starters. If you already knew about these and others and are simply
trying to recruit us into helping the cause, I'm all for that. I just hate
to see the wheel reinvented or good ideas to fizzle because they took place
in the wrong forum. My 2 cents.
