My reason for interjecting this topic again is that like Mike stated, we
need to come together as a group to use whatever means required to start
putting pressure on those that have no regard for a decent SLA or QOS and
when I get loads of spam, port scans, ftp seekers and the lot, I do an ARIN
on them and just block out the whole C-B or A class is required.
Again I am very tired of the group of providers that will turn their heads
when it comes to stopping this stuff. A voice, and a policing of our own is
maybe a start. Others in the industry police their own, and it seems to
work. Blacklisting, turning away from them just as they turn away from
stopping it is maybe another first step. $$ get attention, be it making them
or losing them.
Mile if you have a site or list or even just a phone number to get a slow
start, COUNT ME IN.
