Re-Hi Glenn :)

The 4.24 or better, I think, supports ClamAV. So, yes! I also run F-Prot.

Ah, O.K. - got it now: You're running both. I took a look into the mailscanner config and realised that you can run 2 AV softwares.

The biggest hitch with installing it with the instruction set we've been referring to, is to beware the PERL idiosyncrasies. You can use CPAN, or to be safe(r), download the CPAN modules and install them one-by-one. CPAN on the Cobalt can suck someone unknowingly into upgrading their PERL and that is near suicide on the Cobalts.

Mhhh.. the "wget http://search.cpan.org/CPAN/authors/id/R/RB/RBS/File-Spec-0.82.tar.gz " part you mean I guess. CPAN says nothing to me. I hope it's not too difficult.

You can execute a 'cpan' utility on your RaQ to update PERL modules. Unless you know the switches and answer the questions properly, you can end up with a new version of PERL.

Besides I just got one PERL installed on my machine. Checked that already.

Maybe I try the install tonight...

Best O' Luck!

Regards, Frank
