Hi Frank,

The 4.24 or better, I think, supports ClamAV. So, yes! I also run F-Prot.

The biggest hitch with installing it with the instruction set we've been 
referring to, is to beware the PERL idiosyncrasies. You can use CPAN, or to 
be safe(r), download the CPAN modules and install them one-by-one.  CPAN on 
the Cobalt can suck someone unknowingly into upgrading their PERL and that 
is near suicide on the Cobalts.

BTW, The MailScanner author, Julian, claims that MailScanner integrates 
seamlessly with SpamAssassin. I've only tried on my Cobalts and never been 
able to get it to run any other way than on a per-user basis with an 
/etc/procmailrc call to spamc and a ~/.procmailrc call to spamd. This 
method is very inefficient, but I could not get the beast to work, 
otherwise. Also, another gotcha: RaQ3 sendmail has to be upgraded to get 
the 4.x MailScanner to run on it. Not the case on the RaQ4.
