Because we haven't got around to shifting the mail over yet :| Lame excuse
I know...but...

Indeed.. If I knew exactly what the process was of shifting things around.
I've been dealing with Demon for several years now, and speaking to the
'right person' is tricky at times... Besides, I do not know enough of the
intracasies of the internal workings about email servers to understand what
is involved with MX records etc... I'm eager to learn and understand, just
have a lot of other things on my plate to sit down for a bit and read up :|
It's actually quite frustrating at times.... hence the reason to leave
things with Demon...for a bit.

Very, very long story, but when our company decided they were going to join
the foray of the internet, our marketing people decided to sub-contract the
whole thing to a third party, who involved Demon Internet into the deal.
They designed our webshite, and registered our domain name on our behalf.
I'm involved in the very long struggle of shifting the comms over to BT, and
bringing the webshite inhouse to sit on our Qube2. It doesn't generate a
fantastic amount of traffic, so the Qube2 should easily handle it. We
already have a few forward and reverse DNS lookups setup with BT, the onlu
one missing is "www".

Indeed, it was the "other Jeff" :)

Thanks for the help and suggestions... I think I should look long and hard
at reading up on the internals of email servers, and also look at shifting
things over completely to BT.

Cheers
