My guess is that if you'd do the MX everything would fall into place. You can start by having demon insert a <test.lion-breath.com> with an mx pointer to your Qube. Set up an address in the Qube's /etc/virtusertable file (don't forget to convert the file into the database sendmail needs), and see if you can send email to <you@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>. As soon as that works, an MX record for the main <lion-breath.com> domain will work properly, too (presuming the proper entries in /etc/virtusertable, of course).
