Re: [cobalt-users] Raq2 Network IP Address Configuration

I have my IP allocation issue resolved (ISP allocated me a new set of IP's)
and the O/S is configuring the addresses correctly.

I'm still having problems, though. The aliased IP address is configured and
listening, and the Raq has set up a virtual host for the domain/IP address
combination in the httpd.config file. "Pinging" the aliased IP from the Raq
itself works correctly.

However, ifconfig still indicates no packet transfer (rx or tx). When I
move the domain back to the non-aliased IP address, everything works fine.
Anyone know what I may be missing? Do I need to put the aliased ethernet
port (eth0:0) in the firewall rules (ipfwadm).

I am at a loss -- I've been beating this bush for far too long. I thought
the raq would simply "set it up."

Thanks - Darryl
