Sorry -- you are correct wrt 103 being the broadcast. You are correct.
With respect to the starting IP address being a multiple of 8, here's what
my ISP has to say --
"It should go by the base IP entered into the console, which is the .102,
since it asks for the net mask and gateway IP."
"That seems to be a major bug in there OS.
And looks like they brought it over from the version of RedHat they based it
off of."
I'm not suggesting that your response is incorrect. In fact I have great
respect for the knowledge of people on this board. Where would my ISP get
such a notion?
