Te clue is most probably in the error message - 'check for corrupted mail
drop' I've seen this a few times where webmail can view mail fine but
Outlook can't. I've always blamed Outlook but it may be that other clients
get the same issue.

Usually we have solved it by deleting through webmail any suspicious emails
or in particular the oldest mail as this is usually the first to be
downloaded and is often the problem.

Hope that helps
