Is the username you're specifying a member of the 'home' group?
Do you have all the latest patches on your Qube? I know that older
versions of Samba didn't deal properly with encrypted passwords for
WinNT and Win2K (only 95/98).
Also, the username and password on your Windows workstation need to be
the same as the username and password on the Qube. (I know you're
supposed to be able to give any valid username/password to access the
share, but I've never been able to make that work myself).
I don't use Samba much, so this is the current extent of my "bag o'
tricks" for the problem... hope it helps.
