If you had read the posts on the subject, you'd notice that the 550
restore can force a ron flash...and if that doesn't go right, and it
hasn't for several folks on the list, then the PROM gets hosed...and
since it's soldered in, you need all SORTS of fancy hardware to remove it,
put in a blank and burn that one. Til that's done, you have a dead
washing machine.
So, one should not speak as if one knows everything if one is simply
making guestimates.
