RE: [cobalt-users] restoring OS/harddrive on raq550

my two drives, that were in raid0 configuration are both out of wack. I cannot get data from them, and I cannot put data on them. To test them, I formated them with another linux pc, and they are fine and passed all checks.. so they do not have a hardware problem.

so now, my question is, how do you restore a raq550 with drives that are blank... is it possible? i tried the restore cd...which did not work. network connections were tested.. and I had a crossover between the cobalt and my linux machine.

does the cobalt have to have some files from its harddrive in order to boot from the network? that doesnt' make sense because if I could get to files on the harddrive from the cobalt... I wouldn't need to restore.

any suggestions?
