[cobalt-users] Inconsistent and Wrong Reply to address with Outlook



I checked through the list and archives but I couldn't seem to find anything
pertaining to the problem we expereince.  We have a list setup that allows
outside posting for support:  support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

On the norm (99%) of the time, the mail shows up from the actual user and if
we reply it will go back to the user: example:
owner-support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx; on behalf of; Steve [steve@xxxxx].  In
this case, a "reply" will get issued and go back to steve@xxxxxx

Once in a while, we get an email where is shows it is from the user - but
outlook shows it as: owner-support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
A reply to causes it to reply to owner-support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx - which
of course is ourself.  If I check the headers of the email, it shows the
proper info:

Received: from bhome [66.1.1.1] by e.com with ESMTP
  (SMTPD32-7.11) id A05960F30158; Thu, 18 Jul 2002 16:08:57 -0400
From: "Brett" <Brett@xxxxx>
To: <support@somedomain>

The same behaviour does not appear to occur with Outlook Express ??  Any
help or ideas would be appreciated.
