This is not true, just yesterday I did a restore of a raq over a lan of
about 100 computers....worked fine and took no more then 15 minutes.

I believe it is more of a bootp server.
You have to boot the PC from the CD, You have no control of the init
process.
According to Cobalt Instructions the Host PC and the RaQ to be restored have

to be on a dedicated network. You can use a 100MB HUB but the PC and the RaQ

are to be the only units connected.
