The OSRCD runs a DHCP server and exports some NFS mounts. The
directions recommend isolating the OSRCD machine and the Cobalt(s) being
rebuilt to avoid the possibility of another machine connecting to the
OSRCD DHCP server, or of the Cobalt connecting to a non-OSRCD DHCP
server.
If there are no other DHCP servers on your network, then there isn't
anything wrong with rebuilding them "in place" or across the network...
