I would add to this,
If you are going out and buying two identical drives, get three!
When a drive fails you really don't get a lot of warning, you don't want to
be in a situation where one has failed and then the other dies while you are
awaiting a replacement. So fit the third drive as you are taking out the
duff one and you still have full integrity.
This really is the way big servers are managed, but I've not ever seen it
mentioned on here before.
Incidentally, I'm not aware of any manufacturers that offer less than a 3
year warranty (certainly in the UK) now, so don't be fobbed off by a dealer
that tells you otherwise!
