trying to collect on said warranty is another matter.....
if you have a dead IBM YOU HAVE TO PAY to send it to their base in holland,
and besides IBM specifically say their GXP drives are NOT suitable for 24/7
use, they reckon 8 hours a day is tops...
fujitsu I am having to take to court to get them to honour a warranty, as
they claim they are not liable because I am supposed to claim from the
person who I bought it from, and they don't care that that avenue is a dead
end
so my personal favourite is still maxtor for IDE
