[cobalt-users] Need help on patching Cobalt RAQ4

Hi, good Samaritan out there. 
I have some Cobalt RAQ4 questions need your advice:

1) I found some security patch (rpm) for Linux. Can I apply this patch
    to my Cobalt RAQ4 just like how one apply on his/her Linux box?

2) How do I know which version of Linux I own in the Cobalt RAQ4?

3) How do I uninstall the patch if something go wrong?
