Hi,
We've ported our file management program, FileMan 2 over to a Raq .pkg
file. It's been beta tested now for a couple weeks, and is now ready for
mainstream use.
It's a free package, and it will install a single copy of FileMan 2 and
allow any domain admin on the system to manage their site by going to:
http://domain/fileman/fileman.cgi
They will be prompted for their normal username/password, and once
logged in, they can manage their site. FileMan 2 provides multi file
upload, built in wysiwyg html editor, multi file search and replace,
backup/restore via tar (.gz support optional Compress::Zlib module),
password protection of directories via .htaccess and much more. For an
online demo (which is slightly different, the login is handled by
htaccess on the Raq version), and a full list of all the features visit:

You can download the package designed for a Raq at:
http://gossamer-threads.com/cobalt/
Again, it's a free package, the only restriction is that you keep the
powered by logo on the page, and keep the link back to our site.
I'd love any feedback about your experience with this, you can email me
personally, or post a message on our forum at:

If we get some good response to this, we plan to port our SQL Manager
MySQLMan next.
Cheers,
Alex
