Geez Jeff, we're talking Cobalt, remember? That's the product line that
has the GUI that keeps the Server Owner/Site Admin in the dark.
Given that, it makes sense that instead of telling 200 site admins to
ignore the mailing list item in their GUI and run some external do dad,
that someone, be it Sun, You or the man in the moon change either the
majordomo implimentation or the Cobalt script to let it all work.
One of the GREAT advantages of the GUI is that the Server Owner doesn't
have to play code jockey for many functions....and the servver admin can
add users, etc. without having to be a *nix person

Yep

Let's see, the COBALT majordomo doesn't support the reply-to correctly,
put and get don't seem to work.

<grimmace>It's pointless to carry this on....we're talking apples and
oranges....you're, from what I can see, offering to install majordomo
and I'm saying that a better approach would be to have majordomo installed
in such a way that the setup is accessible via the GUI, and the software
be installed so that it works as the majordomo docs say it does.
