        Thanks for the info.  In my case, the primary site is no longer usable from the GUI for some reason.  It shows up as www.blah1.com.blah1.com. It has the delete button greyed out showing that it is the primary site and when I click on it I get a domain not found or some such error.  My guess is that some configuration file someplace has the incorrect name but I wasn't sure where to look.  httpd.conf didn't have the duplicate but I'm not sure where the GUI gets its list of virtual sites from if not from httpd.conf.

        I still may be able to do what you did but I'm going to have to do it a slightly different way.
