[cobalt-users] RAQ3: swapping /home/sites/home with /home/sites/site6

I''m trying to help someone who has a RAQ3 which had www.blah1.com as the primary site. This resulted in /home/sites/www.blah1.com being a symbolic link to /home/sites/home. I've got another site on the box set up in /home/sites/www.blah2.com which is a symbolic link to /home/sites/site6. www.blah1.com was moved to another server and the an ip address was obtained for www.blah2.com.

Currently www.blah2.com is the primary web site on the box and /home/sites/home/web is empty.

When www.blah1.com was moved off the box a new IP address was obtained for www.blah2.com and the GUI was used to set the new IP as the primary IP address.

A `hostname` shows www.blah1.com not the current www.blah2.com. Mail sent by root on the site appears to have been sent from "www.blah1.com" based on the username/host in the email even though it was actually sent from www.blah2.com.

The GUI shows www.blah1.com.blah1.com as the primary site. www.blah2.com doesn't have any users defined, while www.blah1.com still does.

I no longer want www.blah1.com to even be on the site. Can I shut down the web server, swap /home/sites/home and /home/sites/site6, copy the users directory from www.blah1.com to www.blah2.com, change the host name and keep running or is it much more complicated than that?

In effect I'm trying to clean up an existing messy situation and don't have the option of wiping everything clean.

Help?!

Thanks,
Paul
