Hi,
Anybody install this software?, the software version is for RedHat
6.2 ?
Regards, Victor.
All,
A sorta related question - is anyone using GIMP or something like it in
combination with the File Upload component in Spicepack to autoresize images
AND to automatically generate thumbnail views?
I'd be quite interested in the script required . We do alot of product
image uploads for various e-com sites and we currently have our customers
generate both full and thumb views and upload them. On some sites a script
checks the image dimensions immediately after they upload it (and I always
limit the size of the full image to 50k) so I can warn them if they have
uploaded an improperly sized image, but it would be much more elegant to
just 'fix' it and generate the thumb for them.
Oh, and one more q: Is it possible to check the filesize BEFORE attempting
to upload the file? An oversized file just fails on the sizelimit
parameter. I've tried to do this, but the upload fails if you TOUCH the
form data between submitting the form and initiating the upload.
Thanks!
