The user does not exist on the Cobalt RAQ. I do not want the RAQ to handle
mail for this user or any other user in the ky.net domain. All MX records
properly point to our mail server which is a totally separate box. The problem
is that I can not figure out why the RAQ wants to try to verify the user
locally.
Let me restate the problem.
I have multiple domains setup on the Cobalt RAQ. The RAQ is only supposed to
handle email for ONE of those domains; the mail for all other domains is being
handled by a separate mail server. The MX records for all domains properly
point to the right place, but for some reason when mail is being sent out from
the RAQ, the RAQ seems to ignore the MX records and looks for a user mailbox
locally. Since the user does not exist locally, the RAQ gives an error and
does not send the mail.
What I need is to know how to make the RAQ stop trying to find local user
mailboxes for domains that it is only supposed to be doing webhosting for.
