I believe, that is the Qube3's address that would be the one that needs
resolving.
Don't the log files tell you which IP's aren't resolving, should be an entry in
there
that says something like gethostbyaddr() failed or something like that.

Since the local network ip's are translated by NAT, it is probably the Qube3
eth1
port ip address that would go into the hosts file.

Try with the Qube3 and also look for those gethostbyaddr() failures.
