Hi all

I also have several items that don't work on Qube3 as they described in
manual:)

1. After upgrading to OS version 6.1 I have lost ability to backup files
from Qube to Windows (W2K) machine (SMB). Qube reply that host is temporary
unavailable or username/password is incorrect. Backuping on Unix machine
(NFS) works fine. Before OS upgrade there weren't any problems to backup on
SMB.
Even worse - when I login as an admin to Qube through GUI in non-secure mode
and try to backup files to SMB - the process resulting page in browser
doesn't appear (timeouted). After that Qube didn't reboot from Web and even
from back console. I had to restart Qube by pushing power button.

2. After upgrading to OS version 6.1 - when I make some administrative
changes regarding file services (even didn't touch SMB), the Qube's SMB
share becomes inaccessible to other Windows machines (however Qubes name is
displayed in Network Neighborhoods). Windows (W2K) make following statement:

An error occurred while reconnecting Z:\ to ...(Qube's SMB share name)
Microsoft Windows device name is already in use.

Error statements I also receive from Win98. Only way how I can repair it -
to reboot the Qube and Win98 machine. Win2K doesn't require rebooting itself
to correctly see Qube.
(Qube is set as a DNS and WINS server for our network. DHCP is disabled)

3. I'm not sure that problem appears after upgrading to OS version 6.1,
but:) - Qube doesn't allow anonymous FTP logins however FTP and Guest-share
is enabled. Anonymous access works for a short moment after I enable
guest-share, but after a while access is blocked (Qube treats anonymous as
an ordinary user).

4. SMTP service waits up to 2 minutes until accept e-mail sending (this
problem remains from OS version 6.0).

OK. That's enough:)
