Good advice.  From a general reliability point of view, its the parts that
contain moving parts that usually fail first.  In our case, that would be the
hard drives and the fans.  It's easy to tell when a hard drive fails, but you
might not notice the fan.  One of the nice features of our newest product, the
RaQ XTR is that the fans all have sensors which activemonitor will monitor and
warn you if a fan fails.
