Ah! That booklet must be with my colocator! Which is fair enough in that
he does the restoring. But all that sort of info (the 'what' rather than
'how') needs to be with the owner of the RaQ as well. That could explain
some other emails in this list! (I'll see if I can get a duplicate from
Cobalt.)

I'd never heard of PAM, and since it's Apache we're configuring, I
searched in the Apache documentation, not the Linux, and didn't find
anything. If I had heard of it, I presumably still wouldn't have known
it was installed on the RaQ3.

Fair enough. It's really a case of knowing specifically about the RaQ
implementation (though any differences between Linux and general Unix
implementations that affect the RaQ's would be useful too).

Didn't think you would -;(.
Just throwing the idea open might encourage someone though. Possibly
someone like me who's going through the problems and making some sort of
note as he goes along ... but I'm not actually offering!
