Seriously, more power to ya, but I sincerely think your time would be better
spent learning how to administrate a generic Linux box and the Apache files
so that you don't need the GUI. Once you don't need a GUI, you don't need a
Cobalt - and the quivering fear that goes along with it when installing
patches and rebooting! <grin>

Carrie we use a mix of Cobalt and HP's ( HP-UX). the cobalt we use for
clients who want to administer their own email/user accounts. The coablts
are very safe to be used for that, the Hp's we sue for clients who don't get
that acces
. It is correct not all bells and whistles are on the GUI, BUT as long as
you use teh Cobalt for what it was desgined it works perfect, AND we can have
a $7.50/hr person adminster new domains etc,.
The pathces have never given us any troubles yet, BUT we do not install
additional sotware or modify the Cobalts (except for the main default pages)
What migth be a good idea is to make 2 giu's one for the box admin and
one for the cleints who have a domain.
We have had quite a few webdesigners who came to us with 1 domain, like what
they could do with the few buttons and their fear of doing admin work was
reduced, now a bunch 'grew' into their 'own' box.
there are other ways to get a more bells and whitle gui....like caldera.
