RE: [cobalt-users] Calling European/Aussie domain pointing help?

I'll look through your recent posts and see what I can find.

I've got a RaQ4i (verified now, even *L*).
Jim Carey got me halfway there. I was able to go into the SOA records for
her domain and put in the nameservers. I put them both in, but now she's
getting a different message:
"hawke.allaboutchoice.com is not an authoritative DNS server for
deepblueweb.com.au.
If you wish to use it as a DNS server,
then the DNS administrator of hawke.allaboutchoice.com needs to configure it
to know about deepblueweb.com.au, BEFORE you re-submit this delegation
form."

So I tried adding A records that also point her domain at the IP for the
second name server (hawke.allaboutchoice.com) but that didn't help. Both
name servers are in her SOA, so I don't know where to go from here. But like
I said, I'll look for your posts from the last couple of days and see if
it's covered there, and dig around on SOA in the archives.

It's a pain, but I *want* them to bite me, otherwise I won't know how to fix
them. :)
Are you getting the feeling yet that I'm a real hands-on kind of person? I
was 9 when I got my first Commodore64 and I've been eyebrow-deep in PCs ever
since. The sad part though, is that I migrated to the WinBloze side of
things and am just now getting into *nix systems. I miss DOS, dammit!
Better stop now before other list members have me hung for chatting. <grin>
