I happen to have tried the flash upgrade to 1.36 (?) from 1.35 (which was
dropping=g PPoE at random). The 1.36 broke the router big time. After 20
calls (no kidding) to Linksys tech support I finally got a tech on the other
end. Seems 1.35 AND 1.36 are bad code. The tech even stated he can't figure
out why the hell it's still available on the FTP server (as it appears all
the betas, etc are as well.). The solution for me was to revert to 1.34 (the
only flash I was able to reflash with after 1.36). So just a thought, if
you have the latter versions of the flash, you will want to go to
ftp.linksys.com and look for the 1.34 under the pub directory as it is the
only tech support recommended flash.
