Dear Clint...
Been there and done that...!
First, I'm running firmware 1.36 (latest as of a couple days ago)
Second, go to the linksys admin page
click the advanced tab
on that page near the bottom, disable "block wan request"
click apply
Should work fine after that!
The "block wan request", when enabled, prevents the linksys from
responding to pings or any incoming connection. It's a security
feature that makes it invisible to people trying to find the
linksys via ping, etc.
The RAQ (I speculate here) apparently tries to verify the IP of
the requesting system or perhaps reverse-lookup the name of the
system which in some way makes the darn thing need to respond.
