Been there.  The following are basic instructions that I used for a couple
of our RaQ3
servers.  FYI, I got this information from this list about 1 year ago.

Diehard DNS gurus will tell you that this is improper use of DNS --- and it
is, in a
strict sense.  However, you probably bought your RaQ for ease of use???
If that is the case, these settings will work fine for you.  I haven't had a
moment's
trouble with DNS on our RaQ3 servers.
---------  NS1 and NS2 --------
The first thing you need to do is contact your registrar and have
your main domain, victorstorm.com setup as a primary and secondary
name server.  Each registrar has a different protocol on how to
do this.  You will need 2 IP addresses, 1 for each name server.

Once you've done that, you can setup DNS on the RaQ3 with these settings;

Login to the RaQ Admin GUI, and click on

Control Panel---> Network

Change the following settings specific to your DNS domain

   Host Name           ns1
   Domain Name      victorstorm.com
   Primary DNS Server Address    <your main server IP>
   Secondary DNS Server Address  <your secondary IP>
  (optional)
   Default Gateway   <supplied by the network you host your RaQ on, usually>

Click Save Changes

Now, go to

Control Panel ---> Domain Name System (DNS) Server

and click on 'Parameters'

Now, add your main domain and dns settins for victorstorm.com.
Also add an a record for ns1.victorstorm.com  and ns2.victorstorm.com

Save Changes

Now, go to Site Management and add a setting for  ns1.victorstorm.com
and ns2.victorstorm.com

Save changes, reload your server and your dns should work once your
DNS registration with your registrar propagates.
