Try it and see if he can connect.
Or...
Dialed in through earthlink, from a dos-box, try the following command:
telnet mail.yourserver.com 25
(where "mail.yourserver.com" is the name or IP# of your RaQ) and see if
you get a connection from the SMTP daemon. If you do, type "quit" (it
may not be echoed; I forget) to close the connection before you close
telnet. If it works, he can use your server with POP before SMTP; if it
doesn't connect, he can't.
