I can't help you with your log rotate problem, and I didn't know if I
should mention how WS_FTP views CHMOD settings, but "immediately" after
reading your message a client of mine sent a panicked note because she was
trying to chmod a new cgi file and then she checked the other cgi(s) in the
bin and found them all to take on the new setting. She changed one back to
it's former setting and LO...they all take on that new setting..:)

Your client must have selected (highlighted) all the files, that is the only way
chmod would change more than one.

If you click on DirInfo it will tell you the current settings for all file in
the current directory, is an ls -l command.
You are referring to the "Remote File Permissions Dialog", used to change,
execute a chmod command, which works like a command line chmod command. More
correctly would be like hitting the Up-Arrow to look at your last chmod command.

I happen to think WS_FTP is very reliable, but like any other tool you have to
know how to us it.
