I found an article in the knowledge based for this one, because I had the
same problem. Basically you have to choose one or the other. If you want to
have Frontpage extensions then they can ONLY upload with Frontpage. You can
still download with FTP, but no upload.
This doesn't seem right to me, but that's pretty much how the article read.
Surely there must be a way to upload with FTP but I am not Linux
knowledgeable enough.

Subject: [cobalt-users] permissions problem with FP
whenever I create a directory/file using FP, I can only edit/add to that DIR
using FP. When I try to use FTP to upload a new version of the file or add
files to the DIR or delete files, it says permission denied, error #550. If
I created the files/directory using FTP, I can edit/delete/add just fine.
Any ideas? I searched the KB, but couldn't find this exact problem.
Thanks!
