Even if the server hadn't "dropped" the authentication, he'd still get
the error, unless you've got static IP, since the authentication is
based on IP#.

The email is working fine.  It's permitting authorized users to send
email while blocking out spammers.  By not working, do you mean
"blocking spammers"?  That's a good thing.

You do NOT need to create two email accounts.  You "can" if you wish,
but you certainly don't need to.

The problem is that Microsoft does a send before a receive.  You need to
bring it up with Microsoft ("http://www.microsoft.com/";).  It's NOT a
Cobalt issue.
