I'm a Jeff. But I have no connection with Cobalt or this list.
I strongly recommending learning about the community you've moved into
before you alienate it's members (not personally against you, just a
rule in general).

Sure we can compromise. Since I choose (yes I've made a choice) not to
read HTML, I just won't read posts in html. It's a good choice for me,
I suppose.
HTML was designed as a protocol for WEB sites. Not for email.
