For once, I'm thinking before acting.
I have one RaQ that is registered as a
host " ns1.myserver.com " . The Cobalt Name Server is set
to ns1 and the domain name is set to myserver.com under the Control Panel,
Network area. So the main site under Site Management shows hostname
ns1.myserver.com
So now I want to put another server online
(somewhere different than where I have the first one located). Is it OK to
register another HOST with internic of
ns2.myserver.com and install this new RaQ
with this new host name?
I just want to make sure that I don't mess up the
sites that I have on the first machine by putting up the host name for the
second one.
***Unrelated question****
If I register a domain at one of the reduced cost
registrars... will Network Solutions still register a host (name server) for
that domain - even though it is registered from else where?
