I had a problem with this as well. The solution was to go into sendmail.cf
file and modify inetd=0

That fixed it.

What type of connection do you have to your RAQ3?
Modem? Lan, Cable Modem, T1, 10baseT... Etc..
Is your ISP/Hosting company having any problems??
Are you connected Full time to DNS Servers?

My Raq2 will sometimes do that to depending on the Internet Weather and how
well I've been keeping my folders clean and Purged.
