You are obviously new to the Internet community and as such, you are
obligated to learn and follow the existing rules of nettiquette.  To long
term group users, your questions about why not html and why at the bottom
are akin to asking why say please and thank you.  Because it is the rules of
our society. If you wish to participate peacefully, you should learn and
follow them.

My guess as to why you find this group unhelpful is probably due to your own
lack of knowledge.  I remember starting out and not even understanding what
I was reading.  But you do it over and over and read it over and over and
you learn.  So many newbies these days seem so unwilling to research, read
and study. The group should not be your first stop.

So do not post in HTML and answer a question under the question. It is not
very helpful to anyone to answer a question and not have the question posted
first.  This is a group discussion, not a personal tutoring group.

Often times more than one person is interested in the answer.  I keep the
letters that I think may be of value to me later.  I forward them to myself
and put them in a folder.  It sure is nice 6 months later when the subject
field is accurate, you open the letter and see the question and then the
answer.  Keeping track of many questions and threads can be confusing.

Protocol says, question then answer.

I realize that you are frustrated.  If this is something you really want to
do, then take your time and learn it.  Do some study and research and then
some of the answers you get will make more sense to you.

I will go back to lurk mode now!
