IBM has had this machine out for atleast 4-5 months. I have seen it in
action and I personally don't think it is a threat. The machine starts at
about $4000 Street price and doesn't have the "gui" that makes cobalt so
"great." :)
However, it is running dual processors I believe and they are intel chips
with standardized memory. You don't have to worry about low user/site
limitations. If you are looking to buy 3-4 raqs then you should consider
this machine.
