I am pretty sure the 4000R is pretty afforable... starts at around $3400.

You are getting a lot of availability features you're not going to find on
the Raq3.  And you can run decent processors.  Two of 'em if you want.

In my opinion both the IBM 4000R and the HP LPr have about the same
price-performance ratio as the Raq3--they are just a slighty more expensive.

According to an Netfinity engineer I spoke to about the 'Terminator' or
'Annihilator' (something like that--the code name for the 4000R) about 8 mos
ago, they were looking at developing some administration software.  I don't
really remember the specifics. They were partnering with Caldera to make
administration easy(ier).
