Re: [cobalt-users] RaQ3 - Email .forward problem

when you make a .forward file make sure it is excutable and owned by
that user. Then after you place it in the users directory go into the
Siteadmin. Go to that users e-mail preferences and select save changes.

So either you're saying that no one in the world who uses unix (especially Linux 5.2) on any other brand of system can make the ~/.forward file work, because they don't have a Cobalt Interface, OR you're saying that the RaQ is NOT using Linux 5.2.

Which are you saying?

Somtimes that clears out some of the problems.

Makes no sense at all, Dennis.

All that happens when you don't change any user information but save changes is that you restart sendmail. If you're a Windows user you probably feel that restarting the sendmail daemon is a good thing. But I've had a sendmail daemon up (on a box on which there are never changes) for over a year. With absolutely no problems.

Just like me painting my face and dancing around a campfire might make me feel comfortable that the crop-gods will give me a better crop this year. But there's nothing there that'll actually do anything.
