[cobalt-users] Qube2 - ISP Domain name vs Local Domain Name - ISDN connections uncontrolled

Hi all,

recently i bought for my compagny a Qube2 ISDN

1. my problem is that ISDN connection is almost always working (my IDLE time
is 10 second now)... few bytes going out sometimes... and connect... i'm
scared by the next phone bill...
I suppose maybe some workstations (W95, 98 or NT) try to resolve IP to
names. My DHCP configuration (on the Qube) is as the Qube as primary DNS and
my ISP DNS as secondary one.
I would like to know where i can find some net logfiles or monitoring
programs to know what activates the ISDN access without real need.

2. I use my ISP's domain name for now (with the Qube2 I have to). We've got
some distant mailboxes on another server attached to our domain.
Is there a solution to use internal mail with addresses like
myname@xxxxxxxxxxxx with the same ISP (ispdomain.com) for my qube and
getting emails from the pop server mailhost.mydomain.fr (in fact a second
provider).
I think i've found half the solution to get emails with fetchmail... but how
can use internal email addresses with my domain name instead of my provider
domain name ?

(i know i should have got only one ISP for my email and mailboxes... and a
DNS entry for the Qube ..but it is really not possible for now...)

Any ideas ?

Thank you for your support.
