Hello, All!
I was wondering if is a way to add/remove pop3/imap mailboxes without
creating an entire user?
Ultimately, I would like to have a form that my end user (I run a hosting
company) can use to view/add/remove the pop/imap mailboxes they have in
their account. Does anyone know of a script that can accomplish this? (Or
is there a programmer out there that will write me one?) The main problem
here is that Apache usernames must be unique, and because of that there
cannot be sales@xxxxxxxxxxx and sales@xxxxxxxxxxx on the same system. As a
hosting provider that wants to give users control of their email boxes, I
dont want them to have to create an alias to accomplish this. I can see
that the GUI doesnt seem to provide a way to do this, but I was wondering if
there were another way to do it?
Also, I am curious in the unix/linux world, how one would setup a mailbox
without creating a whole new user.
Thank whomever may answer this!!
Regards,
David Harris
