Only do that for the Cobalt scripts if you want them. Otherwise I would
install it manually via command line. If you do use the Cobalt pkg's
then upgrade Tomcat and Java ASAP.

Yes, and there is not point. Dump Open Source IB for Firebird.

Then use Jaybird JDBC driver for Fb and forget about having part of your
JDBC driver installed on the server.

However this will create contexts in all sites. No control over which
ones do or do not. I would recommend doing this manually. Since you will
have Tomcat enabled and using resource for sites that may or may not use
Tomcat.

friend. There is lots of knowledge there and this has been covered many
times. Even some brief instructions.
