Has anyone tried to convert the pwdb password format of the 550 over to

Wanting to install Tac+ into the 550 and instead of altering Tac+ for pwdb
access altering the 550 to use passwd and shadow files seems the quickest
method for doing this.
Found a pammified version of Tac+ that should do the job.

Doesn't look like I need to alter PAM, although I still wonder if anyone
has tried to switch a 550 over to /etc/passwd & /etc/shadow files instead
of pwdb.
